Title: change

they always tell you to be who you are, be yourself. do not change your methods or yourself for anyone or anything. if something defines you, stick with it. it is after all, you.

however, when things aren't going your way, and you know you have to change to make it work, do you? do you change your methods to change the outcome, do you change yourself to get a better ending? even if it does not define you? even if it makes you feel uncomfortable? mind you, this new change in method will lead to the outcome you always wanted. the one that you never got from the previous method. what do you do then? do you succumb to change?

if you don't change and stick with the same method, you'll keep failing and getting the same results over and over again.
if you do change and come up with a different method, you get success but you lose yourself.
see how weird the universe works.

i think the answer to this is compromise.
but then again, what do you compromise on?
